Audition for North Carolina Choral Artists

How Our Roster & Call List Works
As a project-based ensemble, NCCA primarily meets during the week of a performance, with the occasional pre-project-week rehearsal. Each project is rostered based on a number of factors, and varies in size and structure. While we maintain a “core” roster of singers from project to project, the nature of the ensemble is such that new singers are brought in regularly to fill vacancies and for projects with more extended rosters. We hold auditions on a rolling basis throughout the year to extend our call list, and individual project rosters are built from this list.
A successful audition means that you will be added to our call list, but does not constitute a guaranteed position in every NCCA project. We make this disclaimer because there are a limited number of positions available and our team works to create the best combination of voices to fit the repertoire at hand.
